500 Handmade Books

Earth & Sky/Sky & Earth has been published this summer in 500 Handmade Books: Inspiring Interpretations of a Timeless Form by Lark Books.

Here the podcast from Juror Steve Miller.
From the Lark Books website:
“Steve Miller, head of the University of Alabama’s book arts program, is a master of the podcast. In this rich, reflective audio piece, Steve relates his own journey into the world of handset letterpress printing and making books by hand. He talks about what it was like to jury the thousands of entries received by Lark for 500 Handmade Books, which he calls “a feast for the eyes.” Steve describes the range of work that was seen, and spots some emerging influences in contemporary book making practice.”
